Every NetEffect adapter leverages the NetEffect ASIC, designed with a unique, patented Virtual Pipeline Architecture (VPA) that uses a balanced 'state machine'
approach to achieve sustainable high performance, the lowest possible power, and minimal die size. This enables NetEffect adapters to reap the benefits of a full
implementation of the IETF-approved iWARP extensions
to Ethernet including RDMA, TCP Offload, and User Level Direct Access capabilities. The result is exceptional
latency, bandwidth, and CPU availability in all data center applications - in under 4 Watts per port.
