The NetEffect 10GbE ASIC enables development of exceptionally power-efficient, low-latency adapters and controllers for high-density server, blade and storage solutions. It is a performance-optimized building block for best-in-class solutions in data networking, scale-out (clustering) networking, and storage networks.

Through a unique Virtual Pipeline Architecture (VPA), the NetEffect 10GbE ASIC implements all the accelerations and efficiencies in the IETF-approved iWARP extensions to Ethernet - achieving the lowest latency, highest bandwidth and highest CPU availability possible. Its unique hybrid state machine design provides predictable, sustainable performance using the lowest possible power (under 4 watts) and die size area.
