NetEffect VP of Engineering to Address Server Blade Summit

Server Blade Summit, Garden Grove, California. – April 11, 2006 – NetEffect, driving the next generation of Ethernet connectivity solutions throughout the datacenter, today announced that Vice President of Silicon Engineering, Terry Hulett will present at the fifth annual Server Blade Summit in Garden Grove, California. The summit is dedicated to server blade architecture and implementations. Blades are the fastest growing segment of the server market.

Terry's presentation on Thursday April 20, will begin by recognizing the challenges faced when attempting to support high-bandwidth, low-latency environments with Ethernet. Overcoming Ethernet's shortcomings is the driving force behind the industry's development of iWARP, a series of extensions to the Ethernet standards. iWARP allows the world's most pervasive network standard to - for the first time - deliver multi-gigabit performance for networking, storage and clustering, across a single industry-standard networking infrastructure.

NetEffect has developed the industry's highest performance Ethernet adapters and is the only company delivering adapters that fully implement the iWARP standard. NetEffect is currently providing products for testing with selected customers.

During his presentation, Terry will provide early benchmarks, illustrating the significant performance increases of servers equipped with the NetEffect ECA.

Terry has 27 years of product development experience at AMD, Motorola and startups including Banderacom, where he successfully brought Banderacom's InfiniBand chips to production. At AMD, Terry led the development of over 15 semiconductor products.
