Rick Maule Rick Maule
CEO and President

Rick Maule is an experienced and proven leader as evidenced by the successful transition by NetEffect from InfiniBand to iWARP Ethernet technology. With more than 25 years experience in major corporations, start-ups, and turnarounds in the computer and communications industry, Rick has served in various roles including general management, marketing, and engineering. Before joining NetEffect, Rick was vice president and general manager of the Mobile Communications Division of 3Com with responsibility for a wide range of communications products, including all mobile and wireless client products. Rick received his B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas. He also completed the Graduate Program in Business, an industry-focused MBA program developed jointly by Harris Corporation and the University of Florida. He is a regular speaker and panelist at many industry forums.

 

Terry Hulett Terry Hulett
Vice President of Architecture and Silicon Engineering

Terry leads NetEffect’s innovation efforts, leveraging more than 23 years of semiconductor design experience. Prior to joining Banderacom and NetEffect, he held key positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Motorola Semiconductor, leading several microprocessor development teams. At AMD, Terry led the development of over 15 chips and built AMD's first high-volume card-based products. He joined Banderacom in 1999 where he successfully led the Company’s InfiniBand chip development program delivering the first product in 9 months. Terry also previously served as vice president of research and development for Austin-based Si Solutions, Inc. Terry received his BSEE at Oklahoma State University.

Dave Sommers Dave Sommers
Vice President of Systems and Software

Dave Sommers has more than 30 years experience in the computer communications and storage industry. Most recently he was with Vitesse as vice president of RAID ASIC Development. Prior to Vitesse he spent 19 years with Adaptec, where he was vice president of engineering, responsible for RAID, TCP/IP offload products which included iSCSI, RDMA, TOE, and NIC products. His vast experience includes positions of responsibility for Customer Design Engineering, Manufacturing Test Engineering, ASIC, Software, Firmware, and board products. Previous to Adaptec Dave served as Vice President of Research and Development of Windsor Electronics. He has presented at WINHec and has served as a panelist at several industry forums. He studied engineering in the US Navy and Chabot College. Dave also pursued marketing and finance studies at Stanford University.

 

Bill Maxwell Bill Maxwell
Vice President of Sales

Bill is a veteran sales executive with more than 20 years of experience in the high performance computing, networking and storage markets. He is responsible for leading both direct and channel sales initiatives for NetEffect. Most recently, Bill was vice president of sales and business development for SilverStorm Technologies, where he grew end-user, channel and OEM sales. He was also vice president of global OEM sales for 3Com, where he led the worldwide OEM sales and support organization to more than $800 million in revenue. Additionally, he’s held a variety of sales and marketing roles for IBM, Sony Corporation, Nishan Systems and Pirus Networks. He received a BBA in marketing degree, from Southwest Texas University.

Rob Senders Rob Senders
Chief Financial Officer

Rob has been an integral part of the team since joining Banderacom as CFO after more than 20 years with Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and Intel. He previously served as vice president of finance for Compaq's Industry Standard Servers Group, where he also initiated that business unit's venture capital investment strategy. Senders earned his master's degree in business administration in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. in economics from Stanford University.
